Unpublished project

Thanks to the beginning of the exhibition at the Can Fabra library I’m allowed to show these pages. They’re a test from 2009 for a project that sadly never got the green light. It’s a pity because it was quite interesting and it moved away from our usual kids or teen style. As always, it’s a job done at Estudio Fénix! and this time both pencils, inks and color are mine.

Microexhibition

From April 15th until June 3rd there’s an exhibition on the floor 1 of the Ignasi Iglésias / Can Fabra Library at Sant Andreu of my work. It’s mostly a sample of the comics and illustrations I’ve been doing during the last few years at Estudio Fénix.

Inuit, illustrations for National Geographic Kids magazine.

These two drawings appeared in the issue 14 of the spanish National Geographic Magazine, published by Panini. As it should be obvious they illustrated an article about this ethnicity. Both drawing and color was done by me for Estudio Fénix.

Xenox Magazine #10

The comic for the tenth issue of Xenox Magazine was drawn by Joan Baranguer and myself, these are two of my pages. Inking and coloring by Estudio Fénix also.

Procreate Test

I've been a happy owner of an iPad for some months now, this gadget has surpassed all my expectations. One of the things I've been doing on my train commutes is trying to paint something with it. This is the first image that I've finished to a certain level with the Procreate application. It's nothing more than a boring portrait, but I've just done it to test the tool. I hope that the next ones are more exciting than this.
